The wisdom of a pediatrician
As a board-certified pediatrician, I love sharing all of the wisdom I have gained over the past 25 years. There is no greater joy than watching families grow together from newborn to adolescence! Time brings wisdom and it has allowed me to identify all of the areas where you need more support and guidance. Sometimes this just can’t be done in a quick office visit so I am delighted for this opportunity to serve you better.
The heart of a mom
Nothing pulls at your heartstrings more than being a mom! Our hearts want the absolute best for our kids and our hearts ache when they struggle. I love what I do so much that my patients and clients feel like my own kids!
By the way, my 2 boys are grown and out of the house now, so my most recent photo is with our fur baby, Tiger!
The expertise of a specialist
Simple. We did NOT get much training on nutrition and exercise in med school so I knew I had to take my education to the next level. As a board-certified obesity medicine specialist, I have done all the research and trainings so you don’t have to!
The energy of a fitness professional
Confession. I wasn’t always into fitness and health! I was deep in my career as a physician, and after 2 kids, found myself overweight, stressed, and unhealthy. After embarking on my own weight loss journey, I began wellness coaching and then became a personal trainer. As I applied what I learned about fitness and nutrition to my own life, it fueled my desire to help more people and bridge the gap between healthcare and the fitness/nutrition/wellness world.
The passion of a faith-filled doctor-preneur on a mission
My faith fuels my passion to fulfill my God-given mission. I am uniquely qualified to combine medicine with entrepreneurship in order to impact more lives! Our kids deserve to feel happy & energized, confident, and strong in their bodies! I am excited to get on mission with you!
